procedure, typically required at set intervals by the manufacturer (often every 3–5

years, or even annually for some models). It goes well beyond the checks carried out

during an interim service.

Here’s what’s typically included in a full strip-down boiler service:

✅ Removal and cleaning of the burner

✅ Cleaning or replacement of ignition electrodes and flame sensor
